Unusual William IV Mahogany Antique Prayer Chair / Side Chair

Dating from around 1835 this Unusual William IV Mahogany Antique Prayer Chair / Side Chair has a high back with beautifully shaped arms sitting above splayed back legs and has turned reeded front legs with brass castors. The chair is upholstered in an early tapestry fabric and the mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
