Victorian Walnut Country House Antique Extending Dining Table

This Victorian Walnut Country House Antique Extending Dining Table circa, 1880 has two central removable leaves, winding handle and wind out mechanism.  The top is solid walnut with a moulded edge and canted corners and it stands on beautifully turned reeded legs with porcelain castors.  This splendid antique dining table would comfortably seat eight to ten dinner guests and the top has the genuine charm and character of a piece that is nearly 150 years old. The walnut has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Hi JamesJust a quick line to say we received the table last weekend. We are very pleased with it, as its always a worry buying and not viewing, but that worry is now parked away as it’s a lovely piece. Once again thanks, will come back soon as we also need a mahogany table and chairs for the dining room.BestSteve
