Unusual Victorian Burr Walnut Antique Drum Table
This mid 19th Century Unusual Victorian Burr Walnut Antique Drum Table / Centre Table / Writing Table dates from ca. 1860. It has a circular moulded beautifully figured top with tooled leather writing insert above four working drawers with small turned handles and unusual carved brackets. This fine antique table sits above three beautifully turned supports with splayed carved legs, castors and central turned finials. The Walnut is a rich golden shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
