Chunky Victorian Elm Smokers Bow Antique Arm Chair

This beautiful late 19th Century Victorian Characterful Country House Smokers Bow Antique Carver Arm Chair dates from ca. 1900 and is in constructed in a beautifully figured elm and beech. It has a curved back with shaped arms, turned spindle upright supports and a figured shaped seat.  This characterful antique chair stands on four turned legs with double H stretcher for added stability and has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of antique pine wax finishing.
