This late 19th century Victorian Oak Antique Silver Chest dates from ca.1880 and would make the perfect unusual antique coffee table. It has super metal bound corners and strap work along with a central brass plate. The sides have large carrying handles and the interior still retains the early linings. This stunning antique chest comes with wonderful charm and character, ideal for the antique enthusiast who can fully appreciate a piece that is over 140 years old. The Oak is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
