Quality Victorian Oak Antique Writing Table
This Superb Quality 19th Century Victorian Oak Antique Writing Table / Desk dates from circa, 1870 and is of nice larger proportions. It has a rectangular moulded top with tooled leather writing insert above two Mahogany lined drawers with decorative brass handles. This beautiful Victorian desk stands on four Gillows design turned reeded legs with castors and brown porcelain wheels. The Oak has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax polish.
