Unusual Victorian Rosewood Antique Revolving Book Table
This stunning quality late 19th century Victorian Rosewood Antique Revolving Book Table dates from ca. 1880 and has the most striking inlays. It has a circular moulded top with striking central inlay and beautiful figuring above a revolving central section with elegant upright supports and leather sections to store and display books. This fine antique table stands on elegantly inlaid splayed legs with an X framed cross stretcher and central turned finial. The Rosewood is a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
