This Superb early 18th century Period Oak Antique Six Plank Coffer comes with wonderful genuine charm, character and is of nice smaller proportions. The antique oak coffer is of six plank construction with a hinged lid and carved edges. The hinged lid opens to reveal a storage space with a candle box and the antique oak coffer stands on four shaped feet. The Oak is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
