Quality Edwardian Mahogany Antique Desk
This High Quality Edwardian Mahogany Antique Desk dates from ca. 1910 and is by the renowned makers Heal & Son and is of a nice larger size. It has the original brown tootled leather writing insert above a moulded edge. This sits above a central drawer over knee-hole, flanked by four graduating cock beaded drawers with quality brass swan neck handles on each pedestal. This fine antique desk stands on Ogee bracket feet, it is finished on the back so can be placed in the centre of a room if desired. It has aged to a warm Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
