Large Inlaid Antique Open Bookcase
This 19th century Large Inlaid Antique Open Bookcase dates from ca. 1880. It is made from Mahogany and has very deep shelves ideal for large books or files. It has a figured top with wonderful charm and character that sits above two adjustable shelves and stands on a plain plinth. This delightful antique Victorian Mahogany bookcase has fine string inlay detailing along with a dental moulded edge. It has aged to a warm mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax polish.
