Georgian Country House Antique Oak Chest On Chest
With a beautiful country house feel, this 18th Century antique oak chest on chest dates from around 1780 in the Georgian era. It has a moulded cornice with dental moulding above an unusual inlaid frieze and has three smaller over six graduating drawers with moulded edges and oval brass handles. The corners have reeded columns and this charming antique tall chest of drawers
on chest stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of bees wax for wood.
