Superb quality Antique Writing Table by Johnstone & Jeanes
This Superb quality mid 19th Century Antique Writing Table is by the renowned makers, Johnstone & Jeanes, 67 New Bond Street in London ca. 1860. It has a figured, moulded top above a frieze drawer and four beautifully turned upright supports. This fine antique Victorian writing table has a turned cross stretcher for added stability and four out-swept legs with brass cup castors. It has wonderful genuine charm, character and the Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
