Superb Quality Antique Georgian Games Table / Tea Table
This early 19th Century Antique Georgian Games Table / Tea Table is in the Chippendale design, made from Mahogany and dates from ca.1800. It has an unusual shaped top with reeded edge and this opens to double the size for use as a games or tea surface. It has a central frieze drawer with small turned handle, cock-beaded edges and stands on carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. This spectacular antique games table is a rich warm Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
