Presenting the Fiddes Supreme Antique Brown Wax, an exceptional product designed to enhance the innate beauty and charm of your wooden furniture. This high-quality wax employs a unique blend of natural waxes, to produce a light brown shade and add some warmth into your timber. It is often used as a wax finish on traditional antiques to add a slight tint of colour as the brown tones rejuvenate and add a warmth to the wood grain. Antique Brown Wax is quick drying, easy to use and will enhance the beauty of your wood. With all the supreme range this wax is made using environmentally friendly blends of waxes. You can apply with a lint free cloth or 0000 steel wool and once dry buff off using a wax buffing cloth.
Directions
On bare or stripped woods, Sand the surface to a smooth finish in the direction of the grain. Stain the wood if necessary. On open grained woods, you can stain and seal using a Shellac Sealer, but this is optional. Apply the Supreme wax using very fine 0000 wire wool or buffing cloth in the direction of the grain and allow soaking into the wood. Remove any excess and then once dry, buff to the desired sheen level. Several coats may be added to build further sheen and protection. This can be used on all bare interior woods or furniture.
For previously finished woods (especially on antique furniture) I would recommend using a polish reviver first and then finish with Fiddes Mellow Wax Furniture Polish.
