Liberon Hard Wax Oil is a specially formulated blend of oils and waxes that offer exceptional durability and resistance for wooden furniture, flooring, and joinery items around the home. It nourishes and enhances the natural beauty and depth of the grain in the timber. Engineered to provide a significant level of protection and resistance, this oil is the perfect fit for wooden surfaces susceptible to knocks, scuffs and spills. The protective layer offers superb protection against water, stains, heat, dirt and daily wear and tear. It is also suitable for use in kitchens as it is low odour and food safe.
Directions
Ensure the wood is clean, dry and with no previous finishes. Clean and remove all dust before application. Sand lightly with 240 grit paper and remove all dust. Stir well before use and apply the first coat, thinly with a brush in the direction of the grain. Leave to dry for 8 hours. Once dry, lightly sand with 240 grit paper and remove all dust. Apply a second coat and leave to dry for 24 hours. Whilst drying, do not allow any textile fibres to come into contact with it.
