Spectacular Regency Rich Golden Mahogany Antique Linen Press
Dating from Around 1830, This Spectacular Regency Antique Linen Press Has Been constructed from the most striking figured golden mahogany. With a moulded cornice above two cupboard doors with moulded figured panels and turned handles. The interior comprises of four sliding linen trays and the lower section has two over two graduating cock beaded drawers with the original turned handles and beautifully figured fronts. This stunning linen press stands on a plain figured plinth and splits in to three sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
