This Quality Late 19th century Mahogany Antique Victorian Open Bookcase dates from ca. 1900. It has a beautifully figured top with moulded edge above a frieze with decorative carved motifs and two adjustable shelves. This fine Victorian bookcase stands on a moulded plinth, has reeded sides and has genuine charm and character. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
