This Stunning 19th Century Victorian Mahogany Antique Games Table / Tea Table / Console Table dates from ca. 1870. It has a beautifully figured top with beaded edge and it has the option of opening to double its size, revealing a concealed games compartment in the process and the playing surface is finished in an early tooled leather. This sits above a figured frieze with unusual barley twist turned legs. This quality antique games table has aged to a warm rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
