Stunning Victorian Mahogany Antique Games Table
This Stunning late 19th Century Victorian Mahogany Antique Games Table / Card Table / Console Table dates from ca. 1890. It has a beautifully figured serpentine shaped top and has the option of opening to double its size. Once opened it reveals a concealed games compartment and the playing surface is finished in green baize. This sits above a serpentine shaped figured frieze with cabriole legs, fine shell carvings and ball and claw feet. This quality antique games table has aged to a rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
