Spectacular Victorian Rosewood Antique Display Cabinet

Dating from around 1880, this spectacular antique display cabinet is extremely unusual due to the fact it has been constructed from rosewood.  It has a rectangular top above an oak lined frieze drawer, elegant carvings and key with working lock.  This sits above two glazed cupboard doors with beautifully figured panels and elegant carved edges, the interior comprises of two fixed shelves with the original velvet linings, ideal to showcase those collectables.  This spectacular antique stands on four scrolled cabriole legs with a shaped apron.   The rosewood has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
