Spectacular Mahogany Antique Serpentine Chest of Drawers
This Spectacular Mahogany Antique Serpentine Chest of Drawers dates from the Edwardian period ca.1910 and is superb quality, in beautiful condition. It is in the Chippendale design with a solid Mahogany serpentine top having canted corners above four oak lined graduating drawers with flamed mahogany fronts and oval brass handles. The sides have fine carved acanthus leaf and reeded decoration. This beautiful antique Edwardian Chest stands on shaped bracket feet and the Mahogany is a warm rich shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional wax finish.
