Spectacular Large Edwardian Mahogany Antique Partners Desk
This Spectacular Large Edwardian Mahogany Antique Partners Desk dates from ca. 1910 and is in the Chippendale design. It has a rectangular gadrooned moulded top with tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer over large knee hole. On one side of the desk there are five working drawers with brass swan neck handles and on the opposite side it is mirrored with faux drawers. This stunning antique desk stands on carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of antique furniture wax finishing.
