Liberon Shellac Filler Sticks are an essential product for woodworkers and furniture restoration experts alike. Crafted from high-quality shellac, these sticks are used for repairing minor damages, scratches or small holes on wooden surfaces. They are available in three shades, light, medium and dark. They are a traditional repair stick used in restoration to fill small holes and cracks before finishing with French polish and are suitable for finished and unfinished woods. The shades can also be blended together to colour match.
Directions
The shellac stick can be melted with a soldering iron or hot iron to drip/run into the damaged area. Allow to harden and remove any excess with a scraper or sharp knife. Lightly sand to a smooth finish with a fine sanding paper or 0000 steel wool. Apply a suitable finish to seal.
