This beautiful mid 19th Century Set of 6 Victorian Mahogany Antique Balloon Back Chairs ca 1870 have oval shaped balloon backs, stand on splayed back legs and beautifully turned front legs. The fronts of the chairs are serpentine shaped and the chairs have been recently upholstered in a neutral fabric. These fine antique dining chairs are a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
