Antique Smokers Bow Chair

This beautiful late 19th Century Victorian Country House Smokers Bow Antique Carver Arm Chair dates from ca. 1900 and is in constructed in a beautifully figured elm and beech. It has a curved back with shaped arms, turned spindle upright supports and a figured shaped seat.  This characterful antique chair stands on four turned legs with double H stretcher for added stability and has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
