Dating from the late 19th century ca. 1880 this very elegant, Spectacular Satinwood Victorian Antique Bookcase / Display Cabinet is of superb quality and built by a true craftsman. It has a moulded cornice with beautiful inlays above two astragal glazed doors. The interior has three fixed shelves. This sits above a beautifully figured top with bow fronted base, having spectacular quarter veneered doors and stands on tapering legs with spade feet. This beautiful antique cabinet has aged to a golden Satinwood shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
