Rustins Black Gloss Paint is an exceptional quick drying paint product designed for those who value both quality and efficiency. The glossy black sheen creates an elegant finish and is ideal for both interior and exterior works on wood or metal. This tough, durable paint is resistant to oil and water and is low odour.
Directions
Ensure the surface is clean, bare, dry and free from any old finishes. Cracks may be filled with a Wood filler. Apply the appropriate primer and undercoat before painting. On metal use Rustins Red Oxide Metal Primer. On wood use Rustins Quick Drying Primer & Undercoat. Prior to painting, existing coated surfaces should be cleaned with Rustins Surface Cleaner or Sugar Soap and sanded lightly to provide a key, prior to painting. Stir well before use and apply the Black Gloss paint in light, even coats using a good quality brush. One coat is usually sufficient but a second coat may be applied if required. It will be touch dry within 30 minutes, but re-coating time is 3-4 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity.
