Spectacular Victorian Rosewood Antique Work Table
This Spectacular 19th century Victorian Rosewood Antique Work Table dates from ca. 1850. It has a figured top that swivels around and opens to double the size to reveal a work surface. This sits above a drawer with small turned handle and pull out lower work box, originally for storing sewing materials. This beautiful antique table has a turned cross stretcher for added stability and stands on four scrolled feet with castors. It has wonderful charm and character, you would expect to see in a true antique and the Rosewood has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
