Spectacular Regency Rosewood Antique Tea Caddy
Dating from the early 19th Century ca.1830 this Spectacular Regency Rosewood Antique Tea Caddy has the most striking figuring with mother of pearl inlay. It stands on small turned bun feet and the interior has two pull out tea compartments with hinged lids and a central mixing bowl. The Rosewood has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
