Quality Antique Regency Games Table with Brass Inlay
This Early 19th century Quality Antique Regency Games Table / Card Table dates from ca. 1830 and comes with wonderful, genuine charm and character. It is made from a fine Rosewood with unusual Brass inlay details. The top is beautifully figured and swivels open to double its size, revealing a concealed games compartment in the process and the playing surface is finished in the original/early green baize. This beautiful antique table stands on a central pedestal with a shaped base and four out-swept legs with brass castors. The Rosewood has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
