This Quality 19th Century Victorian Mahogany Antique Pedestal Desk circa, 1880 is by the renowned maker James Winter. It has a rectangular moulded top with early tooled leather writing insert and a long central drawer over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with turned handles. This splendid antique desk stands on a moulded plinth and splits into three sections for easy removal. It comes with beautiful charm, character and the mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
