Description
This superb pair of mahogany bedside cabinets are attractive and practical made using quality Victorian 19th century Mahogany timbers, showcasing the rich colour, distinctive grain and timeless appeal of traditional mahogany. Their classic design and well-proportioned shape make them ideal for a Victorian or traditional bedroom.
Each cabinet features a moulded rectangular top above a full-length cupboard door with attractive moulded edges and a brass handle. The doors open to reveal useful internal storage with a shelf, providing space for books, bed linen and other bedroom essentials.
The cabinets stand on moulded plinth bases, giving them a solid and well-balanced appearance. The mahogany has aged to a lovely warm shade, with striking grain and a pleasing patina that reflects the character of the timber.
The pair are in very good condition and have been carefully cleaned and finished using a traditional wax finish, enhancing the natural colour and grain of the mahogany while retaining its character.
A matching pair of Victorian bedside cabinets is a practical and decorative choice, offering useful storage and a balanced appearance when positioned either side of a bed. They could also be used as small occasional cupboards elsewhere in the home.
The decorative Palm Tree Candle Holder, ceramic tealight holder and Sitting Leopard Candle Holder shown in the photographs are available separately. Please see their individual listings for details.
