Outstanding Quality Pair of Edwardian Inlaid Antique Chairs
These Outstanding Quality Pair of Edwardian Inlaid Antique Chairs / Carver arms chairs date from ca. 1900 and are in the Hepplewhite design, made from Mahogany. The both have the most magnificent sunburst flamed mahogany inlaid curved backs with cross-banding and string inlay. They have a central back support, out-swept arms, splayed back legs and fine tapering front legs with spade feet. These quality Edwardian antique chairs have been recently upholstered and the Mahogany is a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
