Country House Period Antique Oak Mule Chest
This stunning 18th century Country House Period Antique Oak Mule Chest dates from ca. 1780. It is of large proportions with lots of storage space and has a moulded lid with deep interior and candle box. The front of this lovely period antique chest has four raised fielded panels along with two working drawers with decorative brass handles. It stands on raised feet, has panelled sides and the Oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
