Liberon Liming Wax is used to make a white wash effect or limed finish on hardwoods like Oak or sometimes used on Pine. This is a perfect decorative finish that can be used on modern or antique furniture, especially on light coloured woods with an open grain. Once you have created the limed effect, you have the option to seal with either Black Bison Clear wax or finishing oil for a water resistant finish. This is ideal for both restoration projects and contemporary designs, as this exceptional wax effortlessly creates a textured finish that highlights the intricate grain patterns.
Directions
The wood has to be bare, clean, dry and free from any previous finishes. Open the grain with a Liberon Bronze Liming Brush in the direction of the grain. with a clean lint free cloth, rub the liming wax into the grain of the wood. Wipe off the excess with a clean cloth and allow to dry. Seal with either Black Bison Clear wax or finishing oil
