It is water based, quick drying, easily to apply and is ideal for various crafting and DIY projects. This product helps to restore and enhance the character of the wood, making it visually appealing with a traditional white Limed finish on Oak and Pine. Fiddes Liming Paste sits in the open grain of the wood and can be left as a pale raw finish or coated with a Fiddes Hard wax oil, supreme Wax or White Shellac polish. This is perfect when you want to create, restore or refresh a beautiful piece of wood in your home.
Directions
Ensure the wood is clean, bare, dry and free from any old finishes. Open the grain as much as possible using a bronze liming brush. apply the Liming paste with a lint free cloth rubbing into the grain. with a clean lint free cloth buff off any excess in the direction of the grain. More coats can be added if required. Leave as a pale raw finish or coat with a Fiddes Hard wax oil, supreme Wax or White Shellac polish.
