Description
Liberon Special Effects Black Wax or patinating wax is used for adding an aged aesthetic coloured finish, highlighting areas on new wood or creating striking effects. It is ideal for ageing modern furniture or disguising repairs on antique pieces by adding a dark patina. It is suitable for a wide range of surfaces, from wood to decorative items, like metal, gilt, plaster, stone, MDF and papier-mâché and works perfectly in decorative carvings.
Directions
The surface must be clean, dry and free from any previous finishes. Apply the Patinating Wax onto the surface with a cloth or brush. Allow to fully dry and remove any excess with a lint free cloth. Once you are happy with the results, seal with a wax finish.
