Directions
When using Hammerite Rust Remover Gel, use a wire brush to remove any loose rust. Apply the Gel liberally with a brush and work well into the metal surface. Leave for around 20 minutes and repeat the process as necessary at 30-minute intervals. Do this for around 2 to 3 hours or until rust is removed. Repeat, if necessary, until all the rust has been removed and allow to fully dry.
When using Hammerite Rust Remover Dip use a wire brush to remove loose rust. Shake weel before use and dilute 1 part Dip with 9 parts water and mix thoroughly. Immerse the rusty item/s in the diluted solution overnight. Remove and rinse thoroughly under running water using a wire brush to remove rust deposits. This can be repeated if necessary. Leave to fully dry.
With both cleaners, it is recommended to paint with Hammerite metal paint on the same day.
