Quality Antique Georgian Oak Bureau
This Quality 18th Century small Antique Georgian Oak Bureau / Writing Desk dates from circa, 1760 and has wonderful genuine charm and character. This wonderful antique bureau has a moulded fall front with decorative brass key escutcheon and the interior comprises of several pigeon holes and small oak drawers with brass handles. It also has a sliding bible well and two secret drawers. This early country oak antique desk has a two over two drawer configuration with quality re-instated brass handles. It stands on shaped bracket feet and the Oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
