Georgian Mahogany Antique Chest on Chest

This spectacular chest on chest circa, 1790 is truly stunning and provides an adequate amount of storage.  With a moulded cornice with decorative inlay above two over five graduating cock beaded drawers with decorative brass swan neck handles and key with one working lock.  The sides are canted and reeded and the chest stands on shaped bracket feet.  It splits into two sections for easy removal and the mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
