Dating from Around 1790 In the Georgian Era, This Spectacular Figured Golden Mahogany Antique Linen Press has a moulded cornice above a beautifully figured frieze, two beautifully figured doors with crossbanded edges and key with working lock. The interior comprises of five sliding linen trays and the lower section has a moulded edge above two over two cock beaded drawers with beautifully turned ebonized handles. This exquisite antique stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich golden shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
