This Unusual 18th Century Mahogany, George III Antique Games Table dates from ca.1790. It has an unusual shaped top that opens to double the size revealing an inlaid backgammon and chess games board. It has a central concealed frieze drawer and stands on four cabriole legs with pad feet. One leg is a gate leg to support the top when opened. This beautiful antique games table comes with wonderful, genuine charm, character and has aged to a warm Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
