This Elegant 19th Century Country House Regency Mahogany Antique Side Table / Sofa Table Dates from Around 1830 and is the style and quality of a Gillows piece. It has a beautifully figured top with two small drop leaves with reeded edge supported by swinging brackets when extended. One side has a deep double drawer with turned handles and the opposite side is mirrored with a faux drawer. This delightful antique table stands on a turned acanthus leaf carved pedestal with four elegant splayed legs having quality brass castors. It has wonderful charm and character that you would expect to see in a true antique and the mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
