Stunning Set of 6 Antique Edwardian Dining Chairs
This Stunning Set of 6 Mahogany Antique Edwardian Dining Chairs are in the Hepplewhite Design and by the renowned makers S & H Jewell ca. 1900. The set consists of 6 carvers with a curved moulded backs and decorative pierced back splats with wheat sheaf design, typical of the Hepplewhite style. They have out-swept arms, stand on moulded front legs, splayed back legs and have a H stretcher for added stability. This fine set of antique chairs has aged to a warm mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
