Quality Pair of Antique Georgian Carver Arm Chairs
This superb Quality, late 18th Century Pair of Antique Georgian Carver Arm Chairs date from ca. 1790 and are made from solid Walnut. They are of a superb larger size with an amazing figuring to the timber and in the Chippendale style. They each have curved backs, with pierced back splats, shaped arms and drop in seats. These stunning antique chairs stand on squared front legs, have splayed back legs and a H stretcher for added stability. The Walnut has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
