This Spectacular Victorian Impressively Inlaid Walnut Antique Sorrento Table dates from the 19th Century, ca. 1880. The top displays outstanding craftsmanship due to the intricate inlays that are truly sensational, with St George slaying the dragon. This exquisite piece stands on a beautifully turned inlaid pedestal with four splayed legs and central turned finial and comes with wonderful charm and character. The amount of skill and accuracy that has been put into this sensational antique table is evident and is a truly stunning piece of furniture to be extremely appreciated. The walnut has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
