Spectacular Regency Mahogany Antique Collectors Cabinet
This spectacular 19th century Regency Mahogany Antique Collectors Cabinet / Specimen Cabinet is in the style and quality of Gillows of Lancaster, dates from ca. 1830 and is of nice smaller proportions. It has a rectangular moulded top above two Mahogany lined frieze drawers, two beautifully figured cupboard doors with moulded edges and key. The interior of this fine antique cabinet has twenty two small Mahogany lined drawers with turned handles. It stands on turned bun feet, is full of beautiful charm and character and has aged to a warm Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
