Quality Satin Birch Antique Victorian Writing Desk
This Quality Satin Birch Antique Victorian Writing Desk / Victorian Writing Table dates from the late 19th Century ca. 1870. It has a slightly raised back above a green tooled leather writing insert and central drawer and over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with turned handles and this fine desk stands on a moulded plinth. This quality antique desk splits into three sections for ease of removal. It has wonderful genuine charm, character and has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
