Quality Victorian Oak Antique Desk
This Superb quality late 19th century Victorian Oak Antique Desk dates from ca.1900 and is of nice larger proportions. It has a rectangular moulded top with tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer over large kneehole. Each pedestal has four gradating drawers all with moulded edges and decorative brass swan neck handles. This quality antique desk is finished on the back so it can be placed in the centre of a room if desired and stands on a moulded plinth with castors. It splits into three sections for removal. It has aged to a warm shade of Oak with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
