This 19th Century Quality Gillows Design Large Antique Writing Table / Library Table / Desk dates from ca. 1880. It has a beautifully figured top with lots of genuine, wonderful charm, character and has reeded edges. This sits above three drawers with beautiful decorative brass handles and beaded edges. This fine Victorian antique writing table stands on turned reeded legs with quality brass cup castors. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture bees wax finishing.
